If you are new to Sky TV, you may not be aware of the great Sky box features that are available. There are a great range of high quality digital TV channels available to users, and each of these channels provides the opportunity for interactive features via the red button.
The most noticeable of the Sky box features that you may see as a change from terrestrial viewing is the on screen EPG (Electronic Programme Guide). This is the menu at the bottom of the screen that pops up each time you change channel.
It provides a guide to what programme is showing on the current channel, now and next. It can also be navigated through to see what is showing later in the day on that particular channel, as well as allowing the user to cycle through all other available channels, without the need to change the channel; this is achieved by pressing the navigation buttons when the EPG is displayed.
You may not be aware that there are also a whole host of services available away from the core TV viewing service. These are provided in the form of games and other features in the interactive menu. Games available are varied and fun and are played via your Sky remote; there are puzzle and challenge games available for all the family. Additionally, you can use your Sky box to order Pay-Per-View events and films, allowing you to watch all your favourite movies without having to leave the house.
